About Me
The human behind the keyboard
Not particularly smart. Just someone who likes when things are built well — clean systems, good abstractions, code that doesn't make you wince when you read it six months later. That's what I'm chasing, most of the time.
Family is back in India. I think about them more than I let on. Friends — maybe ten, if I'm being generous. That feels right.
When I'm not writing code, I'm probably watching anime — currently working through One Piece, Frieren, Witch Hat Atelier, and Daemons of the Shadow Realm all at once. Also reading the One Piece manga, Ichi the Witch, and Dandadan. The watchlist and the readlist grow faster than I can finish either.
I used to play badminton competitively. These days it's casual, which means I still play like I'm trying to win but pretend I don't care.
I have a Trek bike I use to get around Sunnyvale. It's a good bike. It deserves better hills. I hike when I can — Sunnyvale Baylands, Pyramid Mountain in Boonton NJ, a few trails around Pittsburgh during grad school. Nothing extreme, just enough to remember there's a world outside the terminal.
And yes, I play PS5 sometimes. Ghost of Tsushima, Cyberpunk, FIFA. The usual cycle of "one more mission" at midnight.
